About US
Rico Food Research Center Co.,Ltd was established by the inspiration to help farmer community. After the co-founder, Miss Premjit Srisupphatphong dedicated herself to voluntarily work for farmer’s community in her various CSR projects, she has contributed her work to Ratchaburi department of agriculture and industrial office, farmer’s market and participated in Ratchaburi SME business union to shift the local farmers to SME level. Some of the renowned projects were such as a RD 43 (low GI rice) big rice field project and spot featherback fish project in Chainad. Ratchaburi is the city that full of agriculture land in which the biggest vegetables and fruits market in Asian is also located in this city.
Nevertheless, one of the obstacles for farmers to reach the next level is their limited knowledge of how to create product innovation, financial sources, and new market penetration. From this, Miss Premjit who has her degree in business administration and marketing began to study about food science and technology specialized in innovative design for food. Thus, RFRC (Rico Food Research Center) was established to fulfill her dream to help farmers community to create sustainable small business that could sustain their income and be able to stand strong by themselves. Therefore, Rico Food Research Center is the new startup to improve farmers’ life and create the zero waste business for better environment. With our knowledge and inspiration, we could help Thai farmers endlessly. “As Thailand is not only famous for Jasmine rice and Durian”, we wish to be the startup guide for all farmers in Thailand who is interested to move themselves forward and create their innovative products to serve the world.
